All of the tv commercials about celebrating our Dads and Father’s Day only makes me sadder. Even if we didn’t always spend the day together I always mailed a card and called him. Again, another “Holiday” I’m always going to struggle with and be sad about. I’m trying my best everyday to remind myself of the good times, great times, with my Dad, then I feel a lot of of regret, sad, angry at myself. I feel so much guilt I don’t believe I deserve to feel.
I love my Dad, I miss my Dad, and my life will never be the same.

I’ll always remember our camping trips, your excellent cooking on the fire and genuine smile. I have nothing, but genuinely great memories of you. You will be missed, but most of all forever remembered with love Rest In Peace.

My dear brother Rick: I remember when I shared with you the two times you saved my life, literally. Once when I was three and the watch dog attacked me - you pulled me from him and all I needed were stitches. The second time I was 10 and got a piece of candy lodged in my throat - I was almost passed out when you saw me struggling and opened my airway. Thank You.

I also remember as a young teen I was so happy that you allowed my friends and I to tag along. I wanted to show you my appreciation so I washed your black car to get the leaf marks off. They wouldn't come off so I used an SOS pad to get them all off.
I cried when I rinsed the car - all you said to me was "well the leaf marks are certainly gone". You were so patient and kind - most brothers would not have been so understanding.
I love you bro and you will certainly be missed by many!

I’ve never heard those stories. If it was me who washed my brother’s car with an SOS pad he would’ve killed me, not literally of course. Thank you for sharing, I love you!
