Martin Herbert Larson (Marty) 69, of Alamo 10/20/1951 - 03/13/2021 Formerly of Wyoming MI, passed away Saturday March 13, 2021 at Metro Health Hospital, Wyoming MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and a niece. He is survived by his brother Tim, his daughter Heather Gypsy Starr Larson (Joe), wife Joan, grandsons Dustin (Kylia) Ritsema and Tyler (Maddie) Ritsema, granddaughter Harley Williamson, great granddaughter Ezra and great grandson Egan, 6 nieces, 1 nephew, many cousins and so very many friends. Marty was a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the United States Marine Corps. He was an active member of the Otsego VFW as acting Chaplain. As an avid biker, Marty formed a couple clubs over the years, being the president of the Free Wheelin Three Wheelers. He loved Harleys, Volkswagens and the good ol' Red, White and Blue. Marty loved the outdoors, doing a lot of camping with friends. At one point he even lived in the woods on a river, off the grid, in our Upper Peninsula for some years in 80's. With a unique sense of humor, Marty would always make laughs with everyone he knew and met, with both jokes and talking in riddles, putting his missing finger to many a nose. He would always be up for a good time and loved being with friends. Marty will be truly missed by those who loved him. We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff for the care received and the kindness and support of Faith Hospice. In lieu of flowers any donations to Faith Hospice in Byron Center or Metro Health University of Michigan Hospital Heart & Vascular would be appreciated. ~Take it Easy~ Memorial service to be determined
