Martha Christie Kroll (Mc Daniels)

Martha is survived by her loving husband Michael, daughter Emily (Joshua) Wilford, Father Thomas (Sandra) Mc Daniels, Mother Grace Ann Mc Daniels, brother David, mother-in law Marylee Brunsting, sister in law Leah (Joseph) Hauser, grandchildren Jordan and Samuel Wilford, her beloved cat Beau and many other relatives and close friends.

Martha was born in Mason, and grew up in Charlevoix and Harrison, Michigan. Graduating from Harrison High School, she lettered while on ski and track teams. She went on to attend Central Michigan University.
Martha worked for Multi-Community Advertising Group for 14 years as office manager. As a member of the Grand Rapids Grocery Manufacturers Representatives over 25 years, she enjoyed serving on several committees and acted as web-site designer and host for the organization. Martha founded and operated Byteworks Computer and Web services. Also a talented painter, she had many paintings commissioned for silk ties and other product designs. Later, she heartily enjoyed recommending and selling Norwex products.

Above all, Martha was a kind and caring person. Martha cherished her family and especially loved her grandchildren. Never failing to find the best in people and life, she faced cancer with unflinching bravery and humor.

Her greatest wish was that we would all be kind to each other and put forward the effort needed to understand our fellow man. Martha will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Susan G Komen Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simply Cremations in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
