KRUIZENGA, KAYLEE (LEFERS) Kaylee (Lefers) Kruizenga, 51, formerly of Allendale, MI, went peacefully with the Lord, in her home, Sunday, August 18th, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kaylee was born in Grand Rapids on September 6th, 1967 to Victor and the late Joan (Lovins) Lefers. She graduated from Allendale High School. She is survived by her soul mate and husband of six years, Jason Kruizenga; her beloved daughter, Ashley Lefers (Travis Snook); two wonderful grandchildren Paisley and Stockton, and many loving family members. Family and friends of Kaylee will always remember how she loved her dogs, being outdoors with them, and the many nights spent around the bonfire, laughing and making s'mores and memories. Any chance she got, she spent with her family. She was never alone, always surrounded by the people that brought light to her life, all the while not realizing how much light she brought to theirs. She knew every moment she spent here was a gift from God. Kaylee will be remembered for her wise, encouraging words, jokes, laughter and love. Kaylee will be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to your local park or dog rescue in Kaylee's honor.

Kaylee was the best friend anyone could ask for. I prayed for a long time for a true friend and Kaylee was the answer to that prayer almost 20 years ago. I have thanked God for her more times than I can remember. We went through so much together since that time. Kaylee always loved to have fun and loved to laugh. She lit up any room she was In. She was always getting a group of friends around for a bonfire or game night. We loved playing peanuts with Ashley. I still remember that Ashley would always kick our butts, no matter how hard we tried. We even tried to throw her off with different cards. Those were good times. I learned so much from Kaylee. Her generous heart loved to give everything she had, and expected nothing in return. Life has a way of happening where people come and go in your life. That happened with me and Kaylee, the great thing was that we could always pick up right where we left off with no regrets. She was the sister I never had, I could go to her for anything, knowing she would listen, not judge. She will be so greatly missed. I love you Kaylee.

Heaven recieved one beautiful person! Gone but never forgotten. Thank you for all the funny conversations at the family holiday gatherings we shared. Always had my back about Jeremy's horrible play doo cologne spray. We became family and I will always remember the unconditional love you showed by accepting me into the family. Glad to have been able to call you my sister. Love you! R.I.P♥️

Meeting Kaylee six years ago was an unexpected gift at BioLife. She would always make that time fun. The car rides to and from work always made me forget how much I missed my life in the U.P. All the funny things that happen in those few minutes to and from work gave us things to laugh about for a few years after. I will never forget cherry picking season now bc of my mistake I made with one of her pies a few years ago. 32 pits in her pie. Lol I will miss the love and laughter she brought to my life in such a short time.

Kaylee was such a blessing to our family. She made my brother complete, it was like there was something missing in his life , and when Kaylee showed up he was made whole. Cancer really sucks, we should have had Kaylee for many many more years. But she was a great addition to our family, and i am thankful for the years we had with her. I will never forget her, or her courageous fight against the cancer.

Aunt Kaylee was the person I ran to. When my mom and fought, I ran to her house. After we moved away, when my mom and I fought, I rode my bike an hour and a half to her house. When my son was a baby and we needed a place to live, I went to live at her house.
How fortunate I am to have an aunt that loved me like a mother and saved my behind more times than I can count.
Aunt Kaylee, everything is going to be ok down here. We're all gonna take care of each other. Ashley is my sister now (she really always was) and Jason is my new favorite uncle (Mark and Curt won't mind). Just send us down a hummingbird every once in while so we can smile as big as you did.
I love you Aunt Kaylee,
Love Stephanie
