Obituary

Karen (Herzog) Handlogten of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 83, passed away on September 29, 2019.

Karen was born on February 19, 1936, in Kokomo, Indiana to Bill and Dorothy Herzog. In her professional life, she worked as a private secretary for the president of the Sherwin Williams Paint Company, and later served in the same role for Kelvinator appliance company in Grand Rapids.

Karen dearly loved her grand kids, her sisters, and her cats, and she will be remembered for her laugh and her spunky personality.

She is survived by her sister Judy (Herzog) Hilbert, her son Lance Handlogten, and her grandchildren Connor, Aiden, and Skyler. Karen was predeceased by her parents and her sister Shirley (Herzog) Hamann.

Karen will be interned at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
