Obituary

Jensen David Braford of Wyoming, Michigan, age 90, went to be with his lord and savior on Saturday, June 19, 2020. He was born to Edmond and Agnes Braford on October 2, 1929, in Kalamazoo, MI.

David was born the oldest of ten children. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War and honorably received a service medal with five bronze stars. He worked at Reynolds Metals, where he proudly retired from. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family. He loved playing cards and board games as well as various outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golfing, and going to the track to watch horse races. He also enjoyed his coffee and socializing with his friends, which he did much of at Marge's Donut Den. David was a kind soul with a big heart. He will be greatly missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.

David is survived by his loving daughters Jennifer (James) Bignall and Jeanine (Chad) Jannereth; his brother Bill (Pat) Braford; his sisters Nancy (Arnie) Warner, Susan (late John) Philips, and Sara (David) Lerz; his grandchildren Cayleigh, Cyran, Jaelyn, and Kymber Jannereth and Desiree Bignall; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edmond and Agnes Braford; sister Dawn Hubbard, brothers Richard (Barb) Braford, Tom Braford, Robert (Elaine) Braford, and Jim Braford.

A private service will be held for the family at Ofield Funeral Home, followed by a burial service at Mears Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.

Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy may do so on Ofield memorial page or by reaching out to family directly.
