We are so sorry to hear about Gwenn's passing. She was a devoted caregiver to our mother and father for several years, before moving to Kentwood. Gwenn was fond of our father, and treated him as if he were her own relative. It's sad that her life was cut short, right when she had found the love and contentment that she was seeking. Sending our heartfelt condolences to her family.

We were truly saddened to hear of Gwenns passing. She was a kind and compassionate caregiver whose tender care of our parents/grandparents allowed them to remain in their home. She touched many lives in many different and loving ways. Gwenn and her family will be in our familys prayers.

I was looking back at the memories we shared and some of our favorite ones was our bus trip to Colorado and with our pictures I found a card that Gwenn had given me. Following is a few of the lines that reflected our friendship growing up together:
"I want you to know how much it has meant to me having you for a friend. You've been a part of my life for such a long time. When I think of our good times, it makes me smile remembering them all". Yes Gwenn, we did have many good times we shared together, and those are the memories that will remain with me.
Our prayers go out to the family and friends with love, Bobbie & Rick Holmes

The one memory that Gwenn has always liked to share with friends is when she and I went trail riding in my old Ford truck. We hit a hill that ended up being a jump and SOMEHOW we ended up in between two trees. It took us hours to get out with a bunch of back and forth because we had just a few inches of clearance. We finally got out but it was 3 AM before I got her home. (3 hours past her time to be home) this happened around 1980.
Love and miss you Gwenn

For my sister who colored outside the lines. I am consoled knowing you are at peace and without pain.

I wish this page was full of people replying. The people she took care of when we first meet in the group home that she took care of day and night would certainly leave a message... But they are unable too, they were so disabled they could t even communicate... But she was on their said, she was their voice..... She was wanted, needed, and loved
