“Mom you were the light that guided our path through life. We have taken your teachings and placed it in our hearts to pass on to others. As well as our children, so that they can see the light which guides their path. We honor and praise you for all the love, encouragement, and life lessons you bestowed unto us. Mom, thank you for teaching us that God is our anchor and source of strength, no matter how hard the struggle. We always admired your positive attitude to life problems. by protecting us from your real pain. Mom we thank you for showing that there is no obstacle in life too big for God. Even in the last days of your life, you had total trust in the Lord. Mom you always showed strength by never giving up and staying the course. We thank you for shielding us from danger in this crazy world. Mom you are a beautiful, strong black woman who kept the ship afloat in treacherous waters.
