Daniel Joseph Uganski of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully with his loving wife Deb by his side on Monday, August 26th, 2019.

Joe was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, following his grandparent's tradition of serving the Lord. The Lithuanian heritage was one he cherished and there was nothing he loved more than his grandmother's pierogies. His wonderful laugh, generous spirit, and his personal rendition of the birthday song will be sorely missed.

Joe is survived by his wife Deb;
Mother Carol Galindo;
Sister Marna Uganski;
Brothers John Uganski Jr,(Toni), Brian Uganski, and Kelly Uganski (Heidi);
Sons Brandon Uganski and Daniel Uganski; Grandsons Landon and Brennan Uganski.;
Uncles Ron Uganski (Joyce) and Jerry Uganski(Teresa);
extended family Amanda and Jeff Blaylock, Cynthia, Nathaniel; and the Galindo brothers and sisters.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, John Uganski Sr (Sandy)

The family would like to thank the nurses and care staff at Hospice of Michigan for their care and compassion during Joe's illness.

...I remember Joe as a baby..and then years later, when my parent's house fire happened in 1993, Joe was right there to help..working..tearing down the house..filling the dumpsters, and hauling it couldn't have been done without sorry he passed so young..hugs to Deb, Carol, Marna, and all of the guys..second cousin, Susan

Joe was always ready to help out and never avoided work. His work ethic is one of the things I loved about him. Thank you for your kind words, Deb

Dear Deb, I am Joe's stepsister, Brinda Galindo Cobb. I remember Joe as a little boy who was very close to my brother Mark. They were the same age and were buddies. Then we were separated from each other and I didn't see him again until 6 years ago when we had our family reunion in Michigan. The Uganski kids have always been "family" to us. I pray that you and your family are blessed with peace during this sad time. May knowing that Joe is now free of pain and in Heaven help you through the loss of his physical being. Sending love. Brinda and Cy Cobb

The Galindo family was always important to Joe, and I am very happy I was able to meet you all at the reunion, hard to believe it was 6 years ago! Love back to all of you. Deb
