Carol Louise Bolin passed away December 14, 2020 after a brief battle with COVID.
Born July 16, 1939 In Kalamazoo, Michigan she would remain a lifelong Michigan resident. She married Ron Bolin July 19, 1958 and they raised their two daughters in Portage.
She had a wonderful life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandma (Gigi) and a fulfilling career as a corporate executive secretary. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, golf, and bowling. She loved spending time with her children and was so proud of the family she helped build. While living at American House Assisted Living in Jenison she was kept busy with many outings, crafts, and activities. The nurses often commented on her cheerful disposition and how she brightened up the lives of the other residents.
Carol was proceeded in death by her husband Ronald Bolin, parents Francis and Mable Vosburg, sister Sandra Gowen, and great granddaughter Elle Keith.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Laurie (Kenn) Potts and Michele (Craig) McGann; 5 grandchildren, Lindsay (William) Baskel, Alyssa Keith, Erik (Nichole) Keith, Theodore (Desyree) Potts, and Emily Keith (Curtis); and 8 great grandchildren, Chance, Kennedy, Landon, Gloria, Kaylee, Madelyn, Olivia, and Connor.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
